![]() ![]() I had spent months trying to get the job, so I put up with it for way too long. I had been working for a cabinet maker who was a real asshole almost every moment of every day. No doubt the universe is alive and on our side Its almost like when you totally make up your mind, the universe wants to help you achieve it. I know All this seems random but it really had an impact on me so I thought I would share it. Its like the universe was saying I support your decision to quit your job and do your own thing but its not time for that yet. All of the things I hated about my job were changed today randomly! My boss asked if I wanted to change my schedule to the best shifts possible in a way that I can still work on my business and work at my current job at the same time and I was moved to a more chill environment (my current job deals with a lot of angry customers). When I got to work I had this sort of "I don't give a shit attitude", not in the way that I didn't care about my work but in a way that I had nothing to lose. Its like getting into a huge RPG game and playing the most boring mission you can find over and over again because you know it already and it would be easy to play. This is hard to explain to anyone who has never quit their job, and as I said I didn't, but I got a glimpse of what this would be like, it was total freedom.Īt any moment there are so many possibilities on what we can do yet we all decide to do the same mindless thing over and over again. We totally miss everything! We can do anything we want at any time and we waste it pretending we're some sort of human robots. A lot of us wake up tired, rush to work, clock in, do our work, and come home tired. We get this one chance to live our lives and most of us just let things go by. Since I totally made up my mind it was like I was able to see like I already quit and I could see something that to me, is very important. I felt like anything could happen at any moment. The firetruck sirens where amazing, the birds chirping were amazing even the damn leaf blower sounded amazing. As soon as I made the decision its like I saw things for the first time.Įven though I was sitting in my room I felt like the entire world turned into my playground and everything was exciting. I totally made up my mind to quit today and its like the entire universe changed. Not hating on people with jobs, thats a good thing lol. So I'm starting my own business and I was planning on quitting my job today but something even greater happened. ![]() r/Psychonaut theme designed by Justin Bonnet and coded by PeteMichaud.
